I am a counseling psychologist licensed in the state of Texas (Psy 34258). I earned my undergraduate degree in psychology from Loyola University Chicago and I completed my masters and doctoral degrees from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been trained to work with a broad spectrum of clients with varying clinical issues. However, I have a particular sensitivity to issues surrounding themes of loss, grief, and transitions in life (grieving one aspect of life in order to move into the fullness of another). I also love working with relationship issues.
I am involved in ongoing and in depth training, supervision, and I engage in my own personal work. Psychotherapy has been an important part of my own process of growth so I believe in it's effectiveness on both a personal and professional level. I also stay current on psychotherapy research and literature, which I use to inform my work.
